negative income tax | (NIT) - this is a model of personal income tax where the state "pays back" some amounts of collected income tax to people whose earnings are lover than tax allowance level. I.e. when the allowance is 1000 eur/m and tax value 50% then one who have no earnings at all receives 500 euros from state, Earnings 500 euros means that the state pays 250 (and the net income is 750 euros). Earning 1000 means no tax no refunding, 2000 means income tax 500 euros and net income 1500 euros.
